FLU VACCINATIONS 2020
Due to COVID restrictions our flu clinics cannot be held in the usual way. It is vital the vaccination programme is delivered in a safe way for patients and staff.
*Flu - Aged Over 65's and patients at risk (adults only)*
This clinic will be held at HERMITAGE ACADEMY and will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please arrive at your allocated appointment slot.
Unfortunately if you arrive early you cannot enter the building and if you arrive late you may not be able to be seen. Please remain outside socially distanced.
Please arrive at the clinic wearing suitable clothing to be vaccinated, all jackets should be removed before being seen.
Face coverings MUST be worn.
Appointments will be sent out via text message or letter (24.9.20) and we urge everyone to please attend their allocated appointment slot but if you cannot attend arrangements will be made at a later date.

The Surgery is operating a telephone triage service. If you feel you need to be seen please contact the surgery via telephone and a triage call back will be arranged for you. Any routine appointments/reviews are currently being postponed. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY UNLESS ASKED TO BY A CLINICIAN.
Please do not contact the Practice if you develop COVID-19 symptoms. You can visit www.nhsinform.scot or phone the dedicated information line on 0800 028 2816. If your symptoms worsen or you cannot manage them at home please call NHS 24 on 111. If they feel you require seen they will arrange for you to attend the Helensburgh Covid Assessment Centre. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS BY ARRANGED APPOINTMENT THROUGH YOUR GP or NHS24 ONLY.
Anyone who is not in a "shielded" category but might still need support e.g. if you have a disability, are elderly or pregnant you can call 0800 111 4000 Monday - Friday daytime hours.
If you have a temperature, loss of taste or smell or a new cough then please STAY AT HOME for 7 days. Other people in the same house as you will also need to STAY AT HOME for 14 days from when your symptoms started. All prescription requests must have a nominated pharmacy. Prescriptions SHOULD NOT be collected from the surgery.
Please order any prescriptions online, using the prescription line (673366, option 2) or post your prescription request in the post box located outside.
The phone lines are extremely busy so please be patient so we can take care of you.
